Hope all are well. thank you!
THINGS ARE CHANGING
So the record has been basically finished for the last few months. But as you may know from our Facebook page, some of us have had to move on to various other places. Brendan and Nate have moved out of Austin for west and east coasts accordingly. Mike and Jon remain in Austin for who knows how long. As we all get older jobs and priorities change. We are still all good pals and are looking forward to having the record we made last summer still be released sometime in 2017. That said, once the final mix is done (still being tweaked out in Oakland, CA), there will be some new players involved and a new home base. Since Lavinia really has changed on each release, old faces and some new will probably be involved. It's all just one big giant family anyway. We will keep you posted as things progress.
THANKS FOR COMING OUT
Thanks so much for coming out to see us play with our old pals Caspian and our new friends in Circle Takes the Square. Many many many thanks to Ms. Lysa from the fabulous band Overlake for coming along and doing merch for us.
The record is currently being mixed. We will keep you updated on how it is coming along.
SOME SHOWS FINALLY
We're more than stoked to announce we'll be playing along with our pals in Caspian and Circle Takes the Square in both and Austin and Dallas this October. Hope to see friends and meet some new folks too.
NEWS AND ALL THAT JAZZ
The new Lavinia record has been tracked and has been mixed in New Hampshire as always with our fine pals at Verse Media. We think it sounds massive and cannot wait to unleash it on the world when time is right. Keep checking back for more info as it progresses along.
